Well this is my 2nd '01 Dodge Stratus R/T. I have been on the site for a long time, just dont get a chance to post much sorry. More of a lurker I guess. My baby has gone down with "transmission" problems. Acts like its in neutral no matter what gear its in(drive/rev). I did bring it to a tranny shop. They tell me they are getting "solinoid pac" codes come up. Maybe need to be rebuilt or replace they tell me. Well I dont have the cash for that. So I have decided to pass her on to someone else. She was running great and looking good till this happened. So If anyone here is interested here is the info about my car. I dont think this is too much to ask for a entire car, heck 17" with brand new Goodyear tread is worth near 1/2 this price. Tires were $600 off Tirerack.com.

Car is located near Greenville, MI 48838. This would be picked up by the buyer direct. No delivery sorry.

"Selling the entire car only, sorry not parting it out" If someone else wants to after they buy it, go for it i guess.

This is a 2001 Dodge Stratus R/T coupe. This car runs good but unfortunatly needs transmission work. Was my daily driver till just last week. Car has brand new 17" Goodyear Assurance Tripletread tires on it. New battery also. "Selling the entire car. Not parting out"

I figure this car may be purchase for a few good uses: (A) Someone with car repair experience could fix it and drive it. Or fix and sell it. (cool.gif Anyone that has a '01/'02 Dodge Stratus / Mitsubishi Eclipse could use it for a unlimited parts car. The 17" wheels/tires alone are worth 1/2 of what I am asking for the whole car. If someone has the time and space availble I think you could easily part this car out and make a lot more then I am asking(I dont have the time or space avaiable myself). Great fun car, just a bummer the tranny when't out. Let me know if your interested.
Here is the infomation about the vehicle and some pics. Contact me via my Email: hws4life@yahoo.com or call 616-225-1063(early mornings or weekends best/work 2nd shift) to set up a time to check out the car or just work out a deal.
Thanks, Tim.

That's too bad. Still in real nice condition for it's mileage and the price alone is a steal.

Good Luck on the sale.

anyone know anything about the cost to ship a car? i could be interested, as i'm considering swapping my car back to stock and selling it. this would be the perfect opportunity.

HW4LIFE: would you even consider shipping it to PA?
wiseoracle
I think it's about 500 to ship a car, since the price of the car alone is dirt cheap, it's a steal for anyone who has 2g's to spend on a fixer upper.

thanks wise. i'm looking into some contacts that have used shipping companies to sell cars and we'll go from there. this is really a great opportunity, i just need to make sure i'm ready to dedicate some time to the swap

The cost will depend on things like does the car run (in this case no), will you ship terminal to terminal or will pickup/drop-off be local, open or enclosed trailer, etc, etc. I used www.dasautoshippers.com when I shipped my 323 GTX from San Diego to VA.

Sorry I didnt get a chance to get on yesterday to answer questions. I was not really interested in shipping the car but I guess it could have been done. Never really thought about it to be honest, sorry.
But this is all null and void anyway. Car was sold today. I unfortuanatly "gave" it away for a grand even. I just wasnt sure if anyone was willing to fix it up or not and didnt get any interest at first from some fellow Strat owners. Sorry read this too late.
I would have really like it to go to someone that love's these cars as much as most of us do. I was a real bummer to see it towed out of my driveway and down the street.
Wierd thing about it kind of is the fellow that bought it had his son translate spanish to enlish for him and stated he would be getting it fix and taking it to "Mexico". Didnt explain why, but it was going to Mexico. Very strange in my opinion. But he had cash and I handed over the title.
I still think this was a steal even with need of tranny work. Well thanks again for those that replied and those that expressed some interest.
Sorry my beast is sold and heading South of the border is guess.

Thanks,
Tim.
