I have an 2002 2.4l sohc. And I have that infernal ticking noise that threw my readings is comon. I have also read that it's the lash adjusters need adjusting and it will go away.
My question is: What are the lash adjusters and what do they do? Also is adjusting them something I could do myself with the help of a mechanic friend of mine? If these questions have already been asked and anwsered I couldn't find the post. David |
