i need someones input that has taken apart the throttle body off the 3.0... i was up at school today checking my car because of an idle issue i've been having. i take a look down towards the bottom of the throttle body, and something is clearly loose, and just moving around freely. unbolted the throttle body, and some sort of part just COMPLETELY fell out of the throttle body. i couldnt figure out what the hell it was, and neither could my teacher. it was spring loaded with a "vane" at the end of it. theres one tiny bolt that held it in, which was just gone. i replaced the bolt, put the thing back in, and everything seemed cool. took the car for a ride, and it was like driving a new car. the engine just responded so much better and the idle is very smooth now. and no more friggen system too rich codes coming up.

but can someone tell me what the hell this part was and what exactly does it do???
