Well, about an hour ago, I finished my endclosure. Did a little bit here and there over the last week or so. The main thing I like about this enclosure is that I can take it out at any time in less than 5 minutes. I also installed a 12"blue neon that has strobes in it. I cna turn strobes on or off and can have the neon and strobes flash to music if I want. The neon is wired to the trunk light of which I removed the bulb, so when the trunik is opened, the neon turns on.

Okay, now on to the pics

Now to see how easy it is to take out
Step1-Fold in flaps of base:
(IMG:http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a317/DGJ89RS/stratus/Box04.jpg)
Step 2-Remove base:
(IMG:http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a317/DGJ89RS/stratus/Box05.jpg)
Step 3-Remove side panels
(IMG:http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a317/DGJ89RS/stratus/Box06.jpg)
(IMG:http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a317/DGJ89RS/stratus/Box07.jpg)
Step 4-Disconnect cd changer and neon:
(IMG:http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a317/DGJ89RS/stratus/Box08.jpg)
Step 5-Slide out main peice:
(IMG:http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a317/DGJ89RS/stratus/Box10.jpg)

This is whats left after disassembly:
(IMG:http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a317/DGJ89RS/stratus/Box11.jpg)
(IMG:http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a317/DGJ89RS/stratus/Box12.jpg)

Just as easy to put back in, just reverse steps.

I will take pics tonight of the neons lit up

That enclosure looks very nice. I like how the carpet matches perfectly. Good work.

Night pics (not the best pics to show it but you get the idea)

(IMG:http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a317/DGJ89RS/stratus/Box14.jpg)

Couple short clips (to show strobes. Shows neon a little better too.)

With strobes

I got the carpet from Crutchfield.com. Had enough for this setup with a lil left over. The carpet is a lil bit darker than the stock carpet but I tried to hide as much of that as possible (with the exception of the sides. This pic shows the difference. In the corner (disregard the line going across, problem with upload)

Oh, there is still trunk back there. and If I need the extra space, I just pull the box out. Less than five minutes to take everything out and just leave the initial box. The way I built it space will not be a problem.

Edit: I can also store stuff behind the two side panels if I need too.

Kudos on a nice clean install. Just wondering how putting those panels in affected the bass response? I know when I finally put my coverboards on, there was a noticeable decrease. Luckily there's only 4 screws holding them up, but it sucks at competitions when u have to take them off/put them back on between SPL and SQ events.

I really haven't noticed any difference in the bass. I've never competed in sound competition. I was going for a more all around sound than competition bass.
