OK. got home 3 hours ago,have had less than an hours sleep.....
But.... It was worth it. What a freaking weekend. met some great people this weekend, Our new guy Sean was veryy cool, don't worry bro,we'll get that car in tip top shape. Hope you had a good time at the show. I also met Dustin with his black R/T, he lurks on the boards,but hasn't registered yet, but I think we'll see him on here soon. "Right Dustin? I agree, the show was nothing but incredilble again. Me and Jon were pretty damn lonely because we could not find the people that registered under 2G. However, I did not know that Jon got first, that is awesome man. I placed 2nd back in 03 when I had my Celica and felt like I accomplished something, but damn first man.
For the most part, the drift exhibition was the highlight for me. And something that I thought was weird was the burnout contest. Were there only 3 contestants? I saw that it started so I walked over to watch and they were already over. Some kid in a V8 Civic won it by the way, it was pretty damn sick. Oh yea, I watched this Supra put 910 horsies down on the dyno there too, that bitch was loud. |

Yeah i was at NOPI this weekend too. Awesome show, as always. But i have a question, who was the guy with the red and black stratus? He was sitting on the side in front of one of the trailers. I can't remember who the vendor was, but it was sweet. He had the Dreamspeed 2 hood with the GTC wide body kit. And he built his own turbo kit. That thing was bitchin'. I don't know who's it was but nice job. Between that and the black one sitting behind him. You guys definitely brought back the "itch".

That was the "Cooper Tire" trailer,yes that was Nicos car, the black one was mine.
I agree the drift display was freaking awesome, we were right at the fence where the car came out of the slide,he almost kissed that wall at least 4 times,then we got showered with tire particles. (IMG:http://www.2gstratus.org/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I never saw any of the burnout contest,but the hydraulic competition was awesome. The guy with the Pathfinder,literally tipped his vehicle over,landed right on the roof. Then the guy with the pickup with the dancing bed.... That was the most awesome freaking show.
