I have read just about every posting here about the duals and I am more confused then ever. I love the look of duals, but I also want functional faster exit of exhaust. This is my deal and I need to figure out a few things...

2 magnaflow (smaller style) mufflers
2 magna flow oblong tips - 5 1/4 openings
Mechanic says he is going to split the exhaust and run a seperate line to each muffler. He wants to run the pipe for the new passenger side muffler around the gas tank and straight out to the back.

I am ready to do this, but just want to put out feelers before I jump in.

Labor and supplies =$599.00

1) I've always been told more air in/ more out =faster (true/ False)
2) If true, then will this type of set up work to accomplish "more air out"
3) Am I getting ripped off
4) Is there a better way?

I am looking to redo my exhaust and am not sure if Ripp Mods is the only source for Headers. They are $1100, which is way more than I anticipated. Is Ripp the only resource we have or is there another company I can consider. Part 2 of question, I want to change to a dual exhaust, but am not sure if I should do this before or after I decide on the headers.

Already have AEM cold air intake. Is the catback the next best mod to make for performance sake or is there something else I should do instead to get better benefits? (looking for more low end power). OK, I'm listening...

I am trying to figure out which specific crankshaft pulley y'all are buying for the strats and if they will work on a sebring coupe. I called ASP and they said they didn't even know which one worked for the strat, much less the sebring. I've done searches but can't figure out what model of pulley are being used. Thanks!

I have a 2001 sebring 3.0 v6 and just installed an AEM CAI. (this is my first and only mod so far) A few days after the install, I got that SES light and autozone told me that it was my EGR Valve/ Circuit. I did a search here for similiar posts, but didn't see the answers I am looking for. My question is - is it possible that the AEM CAI messed something up (my EGR) and it is something that I need to worry about? Could this lead to more problems. AEM said there was no connection, but the darn light didn't come on until after I put in the filter.
