I'm finally getting my sub and amp put in (with a friend's help), and I'm looking for a good spot to ground everything.

I've heard that the seatbelt mounts under the rear seats are good, but the bolts are in there pretty damn tight, and I don't have an air wrench laying around (yet).

I saw a spot that might be good on the top of the trunk - would the bolts going through the child-seat mounts be suitable? I sanded down the paint on one of them just for the hell of it, and the ring connector I have is a perfect fit.

Thanks

The seat belt mounts shouldnt be that tight, just muscle it a little. Your best bet is to keep the ground wire as short as possible. I used the rear seat mount and have no problems.

Managed to get it all set up! (although at 1 AM... doesnt matter)

Ended up using the seatbelt mount for the ground, I guess mine must have been in there real tight, had to hit a wrench about 150 times with a hammer to loosen it.
