After an unfortunate brush with a curb I had to replace two wheels on my 03 SXT Coupe, but instead of buying a pair of sixteens which I could not find, I bought a complete set of 17" wheels and opened Pandoras Box. Just Tires recommended going with a 215/50/r17 which is the same saize as the R/T. My only problem is the R/T had a tuned suspension. Despite having had the alignment done, the car was bouncing all over the freeway makinf me look like a madman. I returned to Just ires who now want me to find another shop because they claim the rear springs are sagging. Before the change the cae drove beautifully with no problems with a 20560/r16. Does anyone know what suspension parts the R/T had that the SXT did not? The body height measurements around the vehicle to indicae sagging springs? Despite charging me $80 for tires and alignment, I think these guys are JUST trying to shake me down for more money. Should I make them take their tires back for putting them on? I'm not buying their sagging spring theory at all. According to my calculations in order to maintain the same aspect ratio JUST TIRES should have put a 205/55/R17. The tire guy said hat would be a higher aspect ratio. Headed for a major depression. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/Chair.gif)

To err is human, so why in the World are so many deaf and blind people still licensed to drive allowed to put all of our lives at risk on the roadways? I don't know that there is an answer to all this rhetoric, but until we make that next leap forward somebody, and hopefully not the someone you love will have to become a statistic. I think it is egregious for Dodge to offer customers who purchase the Demon a one day course at a race driving school. That ought to be available to all drivers especially the ones out there whom the little white things separating lanes on the freeway were designed for. The skid pad is the only true way to learn the dynamics of control. The only way to learn how to control something that is out of control is by doing and quite frankly we have been doing it wrong for so long that it should be obvious we aren't doing it the way it should be done. While people are being slaughtered on our highways every day, expecting change is the very definition of insanity. I'm going to Sacramento and give these law makers a piece of my mind. God Help Me Help Them.

Last August I attended a family reunion in Hamburg, Germany. Although I did not know it at the time, during the course of he month I spent overseas, the entire time my Aunt Ute drove us around in her Mercedes, we were actually riding in a Chrysler. The height of the car and its door panels are a dead giveaway that's its Chrysler. Although Chrysler continues to manufacture vehicles which have an uncanny likeness to the Sratus. In fact, if you look at the Global Auomotive Industry, nearly all of the giant auto manufacturers have a one time or another since the inception of the Straus produced a vehicle which is often eerily similar to the Stratus. The Stratus needs to be place upon the pedestal it earned as perhaps the most influential car design of all time. It's a story that deserves to be told, and I am doing my best to conduct as much research on the subject as possible; however, the truth is out there. I would be taking a serious leap out onto a limb of uknown origin because nobody loves the Dodge Stratus as much as I do because the car is so incredibly perfect. Knock on Wood. Every accessory still functions on my baby, and the balance on its Mitsubishi power plant are unsurpassed {It had to have been blue printed}. No other car has everything the Stratus has and is still fun to drive. Although I can only speculate the following: 1. The Stratus design was given to Chrysler from extraterrestrials from another World. 2. The Stratus is the second manifestation of God sent to our World. No, the car isn't Jesus, but it's pretty darn close. The annals of history are what's important, and how that story will be told remains to be seen. I can only hope and pray that the powers that be cooperate with me so I can tell what must be one of the greatest stories ever told.

Dodge Ram wheel center hub dust cover for the right front passenger tire.

Afermarket wing to replace the stock wing.

Waited almost forty years to do this, but tomorrow I am going to run my '03 Stratus in the NHRA Street Legal Drags. The only serious performance mod besides the header that's on it will be a windshield wiper fluid reservoir inter cooler system. I son't know if anyone has any experience with this type of mod, but what i like most about it is that it doesn't cost a lot of money to do. My concern is what effect will spraying water into the engine have on the engine itself? Will the ECU freak out? Should I spray methanol instead? I like the idea of stirring the fuel and air mixture early so as to maximize boost and et the most bang for my buck. Let me know what you think, and I'll let everyone in on any actual performance improvement it makes up to an including removing the air dam front license plate that creates enough drag to stop the car.
