I've purchased a plotter and have been cutting vinyl with it on the side when I'm not working on billboards. My wife asked me make this for her rear view mirrors, and I thought it was pretty funny. If you would like a set, I'll cut them and send USPS for $10 per pair.

It measures right at 4"x1" and I can cut them in white, black, blue, green, yellow, and red.

I looked for another thread in the "Appearance/Exterior" section to add to, but didn't see one referring to waxes and such that stood out... You're going to laugh, but check this out. I was at a classic auto show in Vero Beach a few months ago checking out all of the old cars. Everyone has their own ideas there of what the best quick detailers to use are when you pull up or unload at the show. This one guy in particular was wiping down a '57 T-Bird though with a cloth diaper and a spray can of something that looked very familiar to me. I asked him what he was using and he said Glade. I said, " The FURNITURE polish?" Yep. Not the plain stuff though... He was using the one that does both glass and furniture in the white and blue can. He said it works as well anything else that he's tried at the shows for quickly covering swirl marks for a fraction of the price.

I paid $15 for a can of high end stuff a year ago when we all met up at Destination Daytona for a meet. I've used several of the popular brands that you can buy anywhere too. But never glass/furniture polish. Until yesterday. I took the car up to the car wash and ran it though and vacuumed it out. When I got back to the house there were a few water spots on it and I thought, oh what the hell... Why not. It worked great. took off all the water spots, the chrome lip on the wheels, the sidewall of the tires, covered the swirl marks in the paint, and spotlessly cleaned the glass inside and out. Hard to beat the results I got for $2.00!

Just thought I'd share. Laugh away... I did when I first heard it too. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

A little while back there was a '03 R/T at the corner of SR-192 & Wickham Rd for sale for a while in front of the Chevron Service Garage. A few weeks ago an accident at the intersection totaled the car. Yeah, it was just sitting there for sale... Minding it's own business and someone ran into it. The station owner pulled it around back and left it there... It's still sitting there today. I needed both of the spring bars that hold the trunk up (one snapped) and I stopped in to see if the guy was interested in parting them out of his a couple of weeks ago. He told told me that the insurance company was towing it away the next day, but gave me his for only $25! Like I said though... It's still there today. If you're in Melbourne/Daytona/Orlando and need something he might deal with you. He was really cool with me.

Glad things are going well for you Mitch. Yeah, ol' red found a decent home, wish I could've bought her back lol. I'm also glad that you haven't sold your car, it came out nicely for when you had it
