I haven't seen a carbon fiber wrapped fuel door on here yet, so I thought I would post mine to show you what it looks like. I would like to work my way up to a black powder coated eclipse fuel door one day though, don't get me wrong!

Looks ricey to me just because it doesn't match anything else. And you should make a project thread instead of making a yhese random threads (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I don't think it looks too bad.

Only thing is LOWER your car. A family of raccoons could live under there.

I have a few CF pieces in my interior and CF license plate frame, working on getting a CF hood and your retrofits (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
And good call.. Sorry bout that haha

Get real CF or no CF at all... I was thinking about doing my interior door handles and just couldn't bring myself to do it, it's such a rice mod.
Sure it looks "good" now, but that's because you're not right alongside someone with real CF!
There's so many other simple modifications you can do that aren't rice, like tinting your tails... Start doing stuff like that!

I think it looks pretty good, actually. The only problem is that it doesn't match anything else. And you'd need a lot of CF on the exterior for it to look right imo.

I like it, but it does look a little out of place. I think its mostly the style of the cover that makes me say that. If it were like the Aluminum Eclipse one with the ring around the outside and the bolts it would look sick. Just seems like it's missing something.

The ricey mods I experiment with are temporary. I wrap it in CF , so I have a rough "idea" of how an eclipse fuel door will look like. Everything will eventually get replaced with something high quality, just like any other project. But I have tinted my tails like in the picture...
