Title pretty much says it all. Installed a Spec Stage III clutch kit with a Fidanza lightweight flywheel. When I first started it after install, we thought my belt was squeaking. I pulled out and went for a short spin check out the feel of it. Turns out every time I press in the pedal and disengage the clutch, I get a high pitched squeak.

We jacked it back up, and I watched the clutch through the small hole in the bottom of the bell housing. Everything looked like it was working, but the squeal was still there.

The kit did come with a new throw out bearing, so I don't think it is that. Any ideas of what it could be?

I'm starting to look into buying a decent digital camera. Looking at spending around $200. I found an Olympus Stylus Tough 6020 at Best Buy, but they are no longer stocking it so would have had to buy the floor model.

Does anyone else have any good camera suggestions? I kinda liked the Olympus cause it was water/shock/dust proof.

Too bad DJones isn't around anymore. . .

I've noticed several posts in the first Midwest meet thread about people not being able to make it. So let's open up a 2nd discussion of whether or not it's worth holding a 2nd meet later in the summer.

When?
Where?
Who's available?
What do we want to do for a meet? (obviously photo shoot, but what else if members are driving from a distance)

How about End of July?
I'd like to see one in Minneapolis, Rochester, La Crosse Waterloo, Ceder Rapids, Eau Claire, or Albert Lea. That's kinda central for ND, SD, MN, IA, WI, and IL. (plus I'm from SE MN) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

I'm a maybe depending on scheduling

Depending on how far people are driving, it could either be an all day meet, or weekend. The way it sounds there's a couple of us in MN, WI, IA that could have a smaller meet and not have to drive as far. Maybe keep it smaller and make it only a day. I think it'd be cool (depending on location) if we could incorporate a short cruise, too.

Let's start the discussion of who all would come and where we should have it so it's central for everyone.

Does anyone know what is the stock size? I ordered a short throw shifter that is supposed to have the same threads as stock, but I don't know what threads they are. I read somewhere it's 10mmx1.25. Is that right?

I would like to order a Jegs Classic engraved shift knob, but I'm not sure if it will fit.

If non of those fit, would it work to fill the bottom of the shift knob will weld, then drill/tap the threads I need for the short throw shifter.

I'm also open to ideas for a shift knob, but would like to keep it simple.
