So as I updated my original introduction thread, I gave step by step info about my Stratus situation. It took a while to find one, but I'm finally back into the Stratus scene! Last night I drove 2.5 hours (one way) away to pick up my 01 Stratus R/T. Fist I'll give some information on my car, what my car needs, give some future plans for it, and then of course post some pictures.

2001 Dodge Stratus R/T
131,000 miles
3.0 V6 5 speed (Shout out to Pearl, I GOT A MAN PEDAL! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) )
New clutch
New alternator
New radiator
New shocks and struts
Racing Stripes (Since they're basically just stickers, I'm going to take them off. Just not my style, I'll leave the stripe game to Wise.)
All set up for a sound system, wires all professionally ran and hidden
Rain guard (Only on the driver's side, passenger is all broken.)
Receipts for basically all recent services done to the car

Car needs:
Headlight bulbs- The current ones are less than impressive. I learned that on my 2.5 hour drive home in the dark last night.
Fog lights- Only one is working at the moment.
Driver side headlight- The driver side headlight is really hazy.
^^^ Being that I need to mess with the lights, I think I'm going to bake the headlights open and paint the shrouds. I'm also tempted to get hid's, but I don't know if I want to pay more for hid's...
New radio- Current one is wired into constant power, so you have to physically shut off the radio when getting out of the car. (The wiring is really screwy anyway, so I'll probably re-wire everything when I get a new radio) Plus, the current radio is an old aftermarket Pioneer radio, so it doesn't have an aux port or a usb port.
Wiper blades
Exhaust leak fix
I think this is it for "needs."

Future plans/mods:
Before I list things that I want for my car, I'm going to say that I'm not trying to spend a lot of money on it. I just want to do some basic upgrades to the car and make it unique for myself. Now for the list of stuff I would like to do:
Blacked out headlight shrouds
Debadged emblems
Shorty antenna
Eclipse spoiler
Eclipse fuel door
Cai or sri
Aftermarket exhaust or straight pipe
Billet grille
Aftermarket gauge faces
Possibly painted or aftermarket wheels
Possibly led interior lights
Possibly blacked out tails
This is all I can think of off the top of my head right now.

I'll keep this thread updated with any and all mods that I complete. Now for the pics of my new Strat! (Sorry about the cell phone pics, but it's all I had last night. I'll get the dslr out to take pics of it sometime soon.)

For a 2002 Dodge Stratus RT coupe with 104k on it? Assume you were in the market and you really wanted to buy the car.
5 speed manual
new silver paint
2 owner car
clean title

It has been in an accident, (or two) the owner said he rear ended someone with it and had the hood, bumper, and radiator replaced. There was also an incident where he was at his house and somehow or another the car rolled down a hill by his driveway and ended up rolling into some kind of brushy/tree like area where the car ended up getting a few scratches, a small dent or two, and a side mirror taken off. I don't really understand what he was doing to accomplish that. Haha. However, the car had any and everything that was damaged replaced and the whole car was repainted. (and it looks awesome)

There is also a very small coolant leak, which looks to me like it may have been coming from the thermostat housing, but the owner said it may be from the hose having some sort of leak itself. I can't say I investigated that for very long to find out since it was a very minor looking leak and knowing that I could probably fix it very easily.

It comes with two sets of wheels and tires, but on both sets of wheels, the tires are pretty much shot. So no matter what, I'll be getting new tires for it. (or you will, because well this is all hypothetical... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) )

As for any aftermarket parts, it just has a cold air intake and a aftermarket radio in it. He is also going to include the stock intake and the stock radio as well.

I drove it and it rides very nice. Shifts smooth, steering is tight, and there are no odd noises or anything.

SO! What do you think? Hypothetically speaking, what would be your price range for such a Stratus?

Hey guys, I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still alive. Lol. I've been out of the whole Stratus scene since May of 2011. Why am I back you may ask yourselves? Well, I'm kinda thinking about getting back into a Stratus. I liked my old rt that I had, but I didn't like that it was an automatic, and when it came to having that over an Srt4, I chose the Srt4.

So since my departure, I've gone through a few different cars. First I had my 04 Srt4, which was really fast and fun to drive, but since I have a.d.d. when it comes to cars, I soon found something else. I always wanted a rwd car, and I just so happened to find a 03 Nissan 350z around me for cheap, so I sold my Srt4 and picked up my Z the next day. The Z was fun for a while, but I really couldn't make any power with it without going with forced induction and spending upwards of 2k, so I went after somewhat of a dream car of mine. Every since I can remember I've loved the looks and everything that I read about Dodge Stealths, and I always knew that I'd own a TT someday. (Technically I owned a Stealth ES before I got my Stratus, but that's neither here nor there) So being that I was a member on 3si (from when I owned my first Stealth) I decided to post my Z for trade. I had all sorts of offers for my Z, but I actually found a thread for a pearl white 94 Dodge Stealth TT that was looking for a trade for a more practical car. Now I knew my Z wasn't "practical," but I had to offer. The guy actually wanted to trade, so I ended up driving to Illinois (we met half way) and did a straight trade. My Z had 120k on it and I got the Stealth with 60k on it and it came with stock and aftermarket wheels. Now I've had my Stealth since last April and I still love it; it still puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.

In August I realized that my Stealth was way too clean for me to put it through a salty MI winter, so I bought my brother-in-law's 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It had an issue with the engine at around 120k so it had a top half rebuilt and I bought it with just under 170k on it. It also has the 4.0 in it, so it's going to run forever too, and it's a great vehicle for everyday driving. In October I wanted to get into the whole drift scene so I bought a Nissan 240sx s14 with an sr20 in it. It was a fun car, but I couldn't afford to keep my Stealth, Jeep, and the s14 so I got rid of the 240 after a month. Haha.

Now I'm here with my Stealth and my Jeep, but I'm thinking about trading my Jeep for another Stratus coupe. My logic is this: I've gotten through one winter with my old Stratus, and considering that's all I got my Jeep for, I can trade that for another coupe. (Especially since winter should be pretty much over within the next month and a half) This time I will not settle for an automatic Stratus though. My Jeep is my first car since my old Stratus to be an auto, and in all honesty, it's just not fun to drive. And I forget who it was who always called it this on the forum, but I love my "man pedal," aka the clutch pedal. Lol

So what do you guys think, should I be trying to get back into a 2g Stratus?

Here are some pics of my cars:
