Hey guys know it's been way to long the only Internet I have is at the library. But the strat is good still running like a champ, however I just got a job and want to save for an suv and get into the offroading game. I am curently thinking about an 06+ jeep grand Cherokee with the hemi and the towing package. I was wondering if anyone has any info or pros and cons on this suv. As far as I know they are good beginner offroad trucks but I know there are a lot of car knowledgable people on this site and just wanted to get some opinions. Thanks for the help.

ugly car i know but what im thinkin for the rims.

couple pics of my ride.

thank you in advance to any one willing to try.

so i was on cardomain and i have been noticing alot of people with hondas and nissian's have been doin a mod that they call, a hood raise. basically what they are doing is rasing the back part of the hood (closest part to the front window) a half inch or more. they say it helps alot with air flow and cools off the engine, and is much cheeper than a new hood. 2 questions. has anyone else seen this done, and does it work? would be alot easier and cheeper than getting a new hood. second question is how is it done. are little blocks put under the hinges for the hood, or are the hinges just tilted at a differend angle. i have a feeling that this might just be a ricer lookin mod, but wanted to get your guys oppinion on it, and see if it might be a cheaper alternative to a new hood, for better air flow. any and all comments are welcome. hey guys and gals just thought i would post up the summer plans for the strat and get some feed back. mostly looks this summer, im getting a black eclipse gas cap, painting the calipers black with a red R/T on the center, blacking out the headlights and fogs, and if money is still there, lowering it. im also thinking about getting some red and black charger r/t emblems but they are expensive for how small they are.
one question i saw an eclipse over on 3g that had gargae moldiding for a lip on the front and it actually looked nice and clean, was wondering if anyone has tried this to a strat, or are out fronts to curvy.
any other ideas are more than welcome. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
