Hey guys, I'm sure many of you don't remember me but i used to be an active member and also a vendor for the club. I have a grip of parts new & used that I'm trying to get rid of in a hurry! I'll also be selling a bunch of new stuff on ebay once I'm done with my move. Before then I'm offering the following:

1- broken dreemspeed c/f hood with simulated scoop. It's useless in the condition it's in but makes a cool garage decoration or you could use it to experiment on to see if you know how to paint and or repair a hood like this.

2- used dreemspeed c/f oem style hood. I wanted to sell this but I'll give it away at this point. It's in very good shape, only an inch or two of the typical c/f discoloration on one of the seems.

3. stock springs

4. stock front brake rotors & calipers

5. extra set of used rotors from a Baer BBK. They're staight but they're ugly. If you're still racing your strat w/ the BBK these are handy to have around.

All of these items with the exception of #2 are going to get tossed December 4th. If you want them come & get them!!! I'm not shipping them, pick up only.

Thanks! I miss my strat, at least I get to see it on a regular basis. Still runs, still looks good. I wish I could finish it though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

$200 OBO

It's in good shape. Only blemish is some slight clearcoat anomaly/delam along one edge just about two-three inches long. Never saw a winter only on the car for a summer or two.

I'm not going to ship it though, I don't have a box capable of safely sending it anywhere.

pls. email me if you'd like it: newenglandrt@hotmail.com

Also I've got a bunch of other stuff we can work out a deal for if you're coming for the hood.

I'd rather not ship this crap so if anyone would like anything that's on the car let me know. I'd be happy to negotiate a deal and help you install the parts if I can. Please see the cars for sale forum for a list of used mods on the car that are available.

Thanks,
Jay

I've been test driving alot of cars lately, both new and used. Between my wife needing to replace our totalled durango, and my fooling around with sports cars. I must give the stratus a great complement. The stock infinity seven speaker system is really a terrific factory stereo. It's way better than the 'upgraded' offering from nissan and even better than the new systems offered on the 05 mitsubishi's.

Maybe some audiophiles may disagree but I think the factory system is pretty kick ass. Plenty of range, full bass independent highs..... I have to say it's the thing I'm the most pleased with having owned my strat for the last 4 years.

OK, so I've had the BAER BBK on the car for over 45K... time to change the pads eh? Well I secured a set of Hawk carbon metallic pads sized (I believe, and the chart tells me so) for the BBK. I also bought a new set of rotors, not for performance reasons but for looks See this thread for details well my buddy and I installed them this last sunday. While test driving I noticed a vibration under cruising around 60 mph to 80 mph. No vib. while under braking little to no vib. under those speeds. So I took the wheels off rotated them one lug & re-installed & re-tourqued them and the vibration changed frequency (it increased) but was more prominent at higher speeds. There is also no vibration under heavy acceleration.

Now I know that it could be a myriad of different things and tomorrow I'm going to bring the car in to get the tires rebalanced and an alignment (I'm due for one anyway) and if that doesn't improve things it's off to the tranny/ front end shop.

I'm open to suggestions though. There was no vibration with the BBK before the kit was installed.
