Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the PRND indicator lights in the gauge cluster? I have a 2001 with auto stick. The green rectangles that illuminate to indicate your gear selection all work perfect except for "D". It was working fine earlier this week but now just the D is dead. Is this bulb replaceable? I did a search here and Club3g and couldn't find anything pertaining to the indicator lights. Thanks in advance!

I will be replacing my front lower control arms in the near future. After 215k miles the factory bushings and ball joints are worn and in serious need of replacement. The cost for me to acquire OEM control arms with bushings and ball joints is almost exactly the same as a quality aftermarket part, such as Moog. Which would be a better quality part? Which will last longer? Which would you go with? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

So I hit a huge pot hole and blew out my front tire. Then I went to Town Fair Tire to have the two front tires replaced, got some Yokohamas and love them! But of course they couldn't manage the simple task of removing the center caps and broke both of them. Does anyone have a few for sale at decent price?

Lately my car has been idling very erratic, it will jump from 1,500 rpm all the way down to 200 rpm to the point where it almost stalls out, and some days it will just stall immediately. It's not constant though, it will do it maybe twice a week. On the days it runs normal it feels great and idles fine. I cleaned the IAC last year when I first got the car and replaced the PCV valve. Since then I have also changed the spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor rotor and cap and the intake plenum gasket. If I unplug the mass air flow sensor the car runs and drives perfectly fine, but uses a lot of gas. I tried cleaning the MAF (even though you shouldn't on the Karman vortex sensors) and it has had no effect. The thing that concerns me is that when the car dies at a stop light or through a corner, I instantly lose power brakes and the pedal gets very firm, so I can no longer drive it. I don't know if I have some huge vacuum leak with the brake booster or if it is the MAF. Any advice?

So I finally got around to changing the drive belts.. I'm just at 170,000 miles now and I thought the car was dying haha. I replaced the power steering belt, a/c and alternator belt as well as the a/c and alternator tensioner pulley. It was the easiest project ever and the car feels 100% better. I have way more low end power, smoother idle and no more annoying squeaking! Love it lol
