Little update in case anyone's interested....crappy pics...but I've debadge the tailgate, and added the Ram's head in the middle. Took off the sidesteps, and added factory fogs and chrome bug shield. Oh and switched to Mobil 1 full syn and K&N filter, and for now a K&N drop in air filter. Gas, still sucks, I'm averaging about 11mpg on the street and on the hwy about 17.5mpg. Overall I'm really happy with it, it puts a smile on my face every time I hit the gas. (IMG:http://www.2gstratus.org/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Oh yea, and I already have an 07 grill shell, now I just need...headlights, fenders, and bumper cap, and bam, fresh new 07 look, hehe.

Gas mileage. (IMG:http://www.2gstratus.org/forums/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) I was dumb and didn't reset the Trip meter when the dealer filled it up, so I'm not sure how far I traveled. But that was thursday when they filled it up, and today I was on empty. BUT I loved every second of it, the power is great...I'll let yall know how good I do on this tank. Oh by the way I have a 26 gallon gas tank, so do the math on the bill.

No specific reason for the truck, I've always loved Dodge and wanted a RWD V8 coupe...so this is the closest thing I could get until the Challenger comes out. No kids, so I'ma have fun while I can...Future plans are...

Debadge - Only emblems will be 06+ Hemi emblems
Remove step bars
Factory Fogs
Mopar Intake
Borla Exhaust
SuperChips programmer
Checkmate flush bed cover
new set of 20's once these tires wear out
Hotchkis TVS kit
Paint matched handles
Katzkin leather seats
Few interior color cues
Maybe a 2006+ front end swap

Now when all of this will happen who knows, but I'm gonna haver her for a loong time.

Here's a pic of her first hand wash.

Well I changed my mind....I bought this beauty today....

(IMG:http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b126/TunerOptions/1.jpg)

(IMG:http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b126/TunerOptions/2-1.jpg)

It's a regular cab 2004 Dodge Ram SLT...and yes, it does have a Hemi.

The bonus....

(IMG:http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b126/TunerOptions/3-1.jpg)

It only has 7,225 miles!!! These are dealer pics but I'll take some later when the weather clears up and I get her nice and pretty. I BELIEVE I got a good deal on it, so I don't want to get in to details what I'm paying for it, I don't want to feel like I didn't, heh'.

Needless to say, I'm in love.

What's funny is that shortly after I posted my first post I ran into your posts with the pics of your car....I said, "hmmm, that could be me".

Not much of an aftermarket for these cars, but I knew this a long time ago when I had the Strat. Still debating, we'll see.

Good Point. This is my way of dealing with the 03-05 GB CF hood frustration. Not to mention i do love the agressive features of the 2g's as opposed to the more luxurious looking chomed out 2.5g's

The chrome on the front bumper can be removed.

Having been there & done that.... use yahoo stores. Building & maintaining your own cart isn't cheap at all. Approx 2K up front & at least 150/ mo.
-that is all

What do you mean 2k up front?

A cart as in a "shopping cart" used on websites to purchase stuff right? Why do you have to pay all that money up front?

I'm trying to get a business started as well....I've been getting ALOT of phone calls from business wanting to sell me credit card readers, it's crazy.

Hey guys, I don't mean to be a pest here...but, I just spent almost  $6000 in equipment to start a vinyl cutting business and i thought i would sell a decent amount of decals here. I sold like $50 worth....is there anyone out there that would like to buy these things. I can do custom ones, I have over 12,000 fonts, body graphics, flames, whatever you want pretty much. I have a bunch of colors. The 2g logo's, with or without the rams head. Window banners. Please help me out here... Sorry admins, i know this is in the wrong section but no one is seeing it in the forsale section....thanks, Nick

I know a guy who does this for a living, has his own little shop that looks like a house, heh'. He goes to schools and business's for his work, makes pretty decent money too. He makes signs, magnetic signs, banners, and small stuff like decals for cars.

Good luck with it bro, I'll keep you in mind if I need something.

Actually, this is a problem that a bunch of us have had, especially with the cold air intakes positioned down under the nose. Unless you sucked in enough water to actually hydrolock the motor you should be fine. If you want to get really obsessive about it, you could probably remove the whole intake system and clean it out with carb and choke cleaner, and clean the throttle body with the cleaner they make for that. Thats actually not a bad idea anyway, they should always be as clean as possible. If you're not paranoid and the car is still running fine, don't sweat it.

QUOTE (BlackMamba @ Sep 1 2005, 03:37 PM)
I am not fond of my 03-05 front end, in favor of the 01-02 front. I love the rest of the 03-05 (aside from gauge cluster, another story). Plus all of the after market support is for the 01-02 anyways. So, I was wondering what was needed to make my 03-05 have an 01-02 front end.

I know the hood, headlights and front fascia have to be swapped. Do the fenders have to swapped as well, or just those things? Perhaps the headlight brackets?

I like how low the cross hairs are and how functional everything is. The 03-05 is to high up and its all cosmetic. The 01-02 lends itself to FMIC's better. Any help would be appriciated.

I would get a CF hood for weight and to save money from buying it from a dealership. Probaly everything would be junkyarded and repainted assuming it was undamaged.

thanks,
Ryan.

Find a buddy with a 01-02 who doesn't need his car for a day and try it out.
