Odd question but can cars with an electronic throttle body blirp the throttle between shifts?(manual) I notice it in my 5 speed Tc when I shift through the gears the throttle blirps instead of falling? (making the shifts really smooth and quick)
It has done it the whole time I have owned the car.
I havent asked on my Tc forums yet but i just wanted to get some opinions,
Thanks guys and gals.

Eric;

You should be perfectly able to blip the throttle. The type of control of the throttle body is unrelated to being able to blip the throttle or not.

What I mean is can the blirping be computer controlled, I can obviously blurp it myslef but when I am driving it will do it on its own without me trying to do it.

Well, I have heard of cars that are able to blip the throttle automatically. From my research, the Scion TC does not have automatic rev matching built in. So, no, the computer cannot do it for you.
