After many hours spent looking, making calls and driving all over, I've finally landed myself a new ride. Here she is folks!
2006 Pontiac GTO, 400hp 6.0 LS2 with Auto trans. Torrid red/Black leather interior.
-Car has had some tasteful mods done, they are:
-Pacesetter Longtube headers and midpipes(ceramic coated inside and out) with Borla catback exhaust
-Lingenfelter Cold air intake
-Reflash tuned for existing mods, also shift points have been upped
-SAP front fascia and grilles, along with black painted rear valance and trunk
-5000k HID's in stock projector headlights, with 3500k fogs also
-Staggered 18"x8.5" front/19"x9.5" rear VMR VB3's in hyper black with ARP wheel studs all around
-BMR Drag Bags
I absolutely love this car. Its quite the upgrade from the sebring and mustang, about double the hp and torque! Car handles smooth and takes corners very well.
I ended up picking her up in Joplin, MO(about a 7 hour drive) after seeing the ad on the LS1 GTO forums. At first I wanted the 6 speed, but after driving a few I felt the manual was a bit sloppy, and I had better control and felt more comfortable in general with the auto. The former owner took very good care of this car, and it shows. It had some paint work done after a small incident involving spinning out into a highway median, but there was no damage to any panels on the car, just scuffed the paint. All the paintwork looks great and was done right! I haven't driven her alot yet, as there is still alot of salt on the roads still. I plan to drive this almost daily once it gets nicer out, and store her in the winter and drive my truck. Will probably wait to mod any more till she's paid off a little, and just drive her the way she is for now. Eventually I'm looking at the Procharged route.
So anyway, here's a couple of pics that the previous owner took, and a few I took when I got her home. Can't wait to start cruising the streets with this beast! I plan to drive her to MWM14, so that will be a nice first road trip!

Figured I might as well list it here as well in case anyone's interested.
Selling my 02 stratus R/T coupe with 115xxx miles. Black with tan interior and no rust. 3.0 V6 with 5 speed manual transmission. I bought this car back in March of this year, and the day after I brought it home the timing belt broke, ruining the engine. Car has newer motor with only 80xxx miles on it, and lots of new parts with it:
New timing belt, tensioner, pulleys and water pump
New Distributor last month
New NGK spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor
New aftermarket cold air intake
Clutch was done at 90xxx also, so will be good for a long time.
Has a few small issues as well that I want to make known:
Check engine light is on for an 02 sensor, but still runs fine.
A/C doesn't work well, Compressor might be bad.
Paint is faded on doors and A pillars just like all black mitsu's
This car runs great with the new motor, and will make someone a very nice car for a long time. If interested, PM me or give me a call or text at 6415303eight2one. I have more pictures upon request also. I am asking $3,200, price is OBO. I'll give a fellow 2g member a deal (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Thanks guys! -Nick
P:S I don't have any photos with my Username in it, but I'm guessing everybody knows I own this thing(check my profile), but if it's an issue I can snap some more when I get more time

***EDIT, made a recent trip to my local yard and they have 5 3g's, and one R/T coupe. If anyone needs anything I could possibly grab it for you. All sold parts removed and new stuff added*****
Got some parts here for sale. All prices are OBO, so make an offer. Also all items are plus shipping, but that can be negotiated depending on the item.
2 Alloy fuel doors- Both should be powdercoated. One is in great shape, opens and shuts perfectly with no issues, $75+shipping(the one on the left in pic)
And the second one, has some corrosion on the inside by the spring, ***FIXED and cleaned up the corrosion as of 4/7/14*** Has a couple missing bolts, but they are easy to find. The finish on this one is nicer than the 1st one, it wouldn't need to be PC. $75+shipping for that one
Clock pod cover, Mint no cracks. $30+shipping
Next up is a 6g72 intake manifold, comes with everything pictured. $50
3.0 valve covers, a little dirty but in good shape. $50 for both
6g72 front exhaust manifold, also have rear too. $25 for each
Eclipse plastic fuel door and the stock silver one off my sebring. $20 for the eclipse, $10 for the sebring.

Well, I figured I may as well start a project log for my cars, so here it goes! I have had my sebring since May of 2010(my sister owned it before me since 04) and I absolutely love it. Been a great car mechanics wise too. I have done a few simple things to it, but its pretty much my beater anymore, so Im not going to stick much else into it. Here's what it looked like back in the day when my sister had it and I was obsessed with it!
Obviously its come a LONG(good or bad) way from that. Here's a short list off the top of my head what i've done so far:
17 inch ADR M-Sport wheels with Falken tires
CAI from Ebay
Glasspack muffler installed
Aftermarket Pioneer deck with Subs and Amp
Currently doing JDM style headlights with possible projectors to come
Like I said before, not really sure how much more I want to do to it, beings its my beater. The rust has gotten it pretty badly despite my efforts in trying to fix it(hence the black rocker panels) and its got over 180xxx now. Wont get anything for it if I sell it either, so I might as well drive it till it dies beings I love it anyways.
Heres some more pics of the car without the eclipse wing on it yet
My engine bay
And some recent ones with the wing

Well guys, after owning my 02 r/t for not even 3 days yet, the timing belt chewed off a bunch of the teeth on itself, so I guessing that I should start looking for a motor. But before I do, my question is and i'm more or less looking for an opinion, should I try replacing JUST the timing belt itself and see if it runs just on the off chance it dident bend the valves? I know its very doubtfull but it would save me alot of trouble. Then if everythings okay, ill go ahead and pull it back off and do the water pump and other stuff that goes along with it. Like I said, ive read that almost all of the time that happens the valves are junk or it possibly cracked a piston, but I figured id give it a shot and see what you guys think. Thanks
