I have had problems with my sunroof a whole lot. Today I took it in to the dealer and they found a TSB on it. They did not tell me much about the TSB. They said they are going to have to take the glass out of mine and do something from there. The dealership is going to have my car the whole day, so it must be something complicated.
If you are having problems with the sunroof take it to the dealer and have them look it up.

I've had mine in three times for the sunroof. It shudders when opening. They finally fixed it this past monday, they put a whole new track in. The TSB on it is 23-029-01. It was issued in oct 2001. Also, I dropped it off at 8:00 and they called at 4:00 and said they just finished it. So expect it to be gone all day.

Mine was having problems closing. It would close about 1/3 of the way and then open back up, then it would close just fine.

My sunroof hops too. I scheduled an appointment to get it fixed on Monday. Hopefully it won't happen again.

IT seems that the 2001 models are the ones that have the problem, I had mine replaced and now there isnt anything wrong with it.

Yeah.....my sunroof was shuddering when it was opening, and thanks to you guys, I took it in and they had to replace the tracks. It was an all day job, but it works beautifully now!! Definitely take it in before the warranty is up because it is a potential problem for our 2001 cars!!

Thanks guys

With all this talk it makes me kind of glad I opted for the No Sunroof Option and kept my $800. (IMG:http://www.2gstratus.org/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

My sunroof used to do that, but it just stopped one day and has never done it again since. Just lucky, I guess.

Well, it's been a month since i've had the tracks replaced and no more shudder. Now it closes 3/4 of the way and opens again (IMG:http://www.2gstratus.org/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) It's never done that before, now it does it all the time.
