I removed the part that the a/c controls screw onto so now it sits better, and it's straight. That piece was in the way, I'll be doing a lot of rearranging. this is taking less time than I thought, it took me about 30 mins to get to that point in the picture. I'm loving the console lid, shifter, and especially the fact that I have TWO easily accessible cup holders. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I already had the shifter mounted in those pictures the only thing I have to do is to bolt the center console down after I straighten it up. I'm headed back to butlers Monday to get the rest of what I need, I was in a hurry. I have to get a few things including what I need for the mode change button for the a/c controls.

Figured out the wiring for the sonata a/c controls, now tomorrow morning I'm going to take a look at my acuators to see how these will go on. I'm going to love the electric instead of what came with the car. I might pull the heated seat pads in the morning from the sonata since the buttons are on the console.

It hasn't been that long since I started to convert my A\C controls to that of the 2013 sonata. It's alot easier than a headlight imo. I'm half way done or a little more all I have left is the temperature acuator. Then once that's done I'll remove my control module and mount the sonatas'. It's funny the acuators work flawlessly and I bought them for $5. They charged me $40 for the control module, I'm taking that back tomorrow. I bought one on ebay new for $13.99, it just arrived today.

So I wasn't paying attention as usual while working and I think that I may have messed up on the mode acuator. So someone I know who's an electrical engineer is going to show me how to make my own acuator for the mode. He told me a list of things I would need like I was going to actually going to remember.

I'm going to go ahead and mount the sonatas a\c control module today and hook up everything. I'll build the acuator when he gets time to send me the list of things I need. Also for him to walk me through how to do it. He's an electrical engineer so he's fairly busy.

I'm pretty sure that I found a way to make the acuator work without making another one. It's a 50/50 chance so once I get the time to test it out I'll know.

Almost done, this promotion has taken a lot more of my time than I thought it would. So now reposition, sand, and paint, and I'll have to do a little more on the passenger side, But I'd say 85%. I've decided to go gloss black with the headlights.

Looks great. You should remove the chrome inserts on your front bumper.

I haven't thought of doing that, I'll look into it, appreciate the suggestion.

I agree. The Chrome inserts don't add anything on a silver car. Would look better without them.

I actually planned on painting my car gunmetal, or whatever the color of yours in that picture is. But I'll probably remove them until I actually get around to doing that.

Well I'm almost done with the sonata driver side mirror, and I'm doing more on the passenger side headlight. If the side mirrors look like how i think they will then I'll buy these http://www.ebay.com/itm/180955996846?redirect=mobile. I'm still researching this though, it turns out that I will need to purchase a separate wire harness and relays for the auto folding feature. The seller has given me the link to what I would need to purchase. I'm still looking into whether it is possible to have it work with the ignition rather than the key fob.

Just kinda threw it together since it's basically a...rough draft I guess you could say.

Not sure if the styling flows with the rest of the car. But nice working making something from another car work.

It'll look good when I get the other ones and not throw it together like this one. Thanks but I actually have other parts on my strat from other cars, just BMW and Hyundai for now.

I like what you did to your car very much! Are there any more updates? I'd love to see how your ride looks right now. Cheers and congratulations!
